Call for Internship Applications

The Centre for Innovation, Intellectual Property and Competition (CIIPC), National Law University, Delhi invites applications from students for internship during the months of December 2018 and January 2019.

Eligibility: The applicant should be currently enrolled in a recognised undergraduate or post-graduate program in law, economics, or management. The candidate should be enthusiastic, willing to undertake fieldwork, and should possess good interpersonal skills. Depending on our project requirements, some of the interns may also be permitted to work from their current locations.  

Responsibilities: The interns are required to participate and assist the Co-directors and Research Fellows at the Centre, in one or more projects that they are currently working on. In addition to working on the projects, some of the interns may also be allotted field work (including data collection and assistance in administration of surveys). Interns are also expected to actively participate in all CIIPC events conducted during their internship period.

Duration: The internship shall be for a minimum period of 4 weeks and a maximum of 8 weeks. Each candidate is expected to report every day to the Research Fellow who is coordinating the concerned project.

How to apply: Interested candidates are to requested to submit their applications through this online application formThe form requires a covering letter, an updated CV, a short statement of purpose (clearly specifying why they are interested in this internship), and a writing sample (published or unpublished). All these four documents must be in word or pdf format. The candidates must also mention their preferred time slots for the internship. Applicants should go through the description of our projects ( and specify their preferred projects in the online application form (mention 3 projects in the order of preference listing them as first preference, second preference, and third preference).

The shortlisted applicants will be contacted by CIIPC by the end of October or early November. Owing to the volume of applications received, we will only be able to respond to the successful applicants.
