Internships

Students interested in interning at CIIPC may send an email to internships[at]ciipc.org, with a copy of the following documents:

  • latest  Curriculum Vitae,
  • a short statement of purpose, and
  • a writing sample either published or unpublished, (up to 2000 words if unpublished).

They must also mention the preferred time slot during which they would be available for the internship. The prescribed internship period is between four and six weeks. Further, applicants are encouraged to go through the description of our projects and specify which project they are interested in working on at the centre.

In order to enable smooth processing of internship applications, interested candidates are advised to apply at least eight weeks in advance of the preferred time slot.  The shortlisted applicants will be contacted by CIIPC within four weeks from the date of application. Owing to the volume of applications received, we will only be able to respond to the successful applicants. Incomplete applications or applications received outside the time period specified would be summarily rejected. However, CIIPC holds the discretion to make concessions in exceptional cases.

Call for Interns (Open Science and Digital Inclusion)

Apart from the general internship programme mentioned above, CIIPC is also currently inviting applications for internships in a multi-country study on open science and digital inclusion. Details of this internship programme (December 2021 to January 2022) can be accessed here.
