Mr. Virender Chandel

Research Assistant

Virender is a passionate intellectual property rights enthusiast. He holds B.Sc.-LL.B. (IPR Hons.) from National Law University, Jodhpur and LL.M in IP Laws from Queen Mary University of London. He finds intellectual property rights law most intellectually stimulating. His keen interest in this field led him to explore the implications of 3D printing technology on patent law and policy for his LL.M thesis. Before joining IPR Chair-CIIPC, he served as an IP Law and Policy Advisor to NGOs and private individuals to assist in protection and commercialisation of IPRs. Prior to that he also acquired knowledge of patent oppositions during an internship program at Lawyers Collective. At IPR Chair-CIIPC, he is working on some key projects related to implementation of public international law of intellectual property rights.
