We are happy to announce that Devanshi Saxena is joining as Visiting Researcher from 16th June to 31st October 2023 at the Centre for Innovation, Intellectual Property & Competition (CIIPC) at National Law University Delhi.
Devanshi Saxena is a doctoral researcher and teaching assistant at the University of Antwerp, Belgium. She is investigating the potential of geographical indications as a legal tool for sustainable development with a focus on developing countries for her PhD thesis. She is adopting a critical decolonial approach to the discussions on sustainable development through geographical indications. Her two case studies are Chanderi sarees in India and Rooibos tea in South Africa.
